HempToday has added new media partnerships with commodities trading platform CanXchange, carbon-tracking startup HempConnect, and independent German author and photographer Maren Krings.

London-based CanXchange facilitates commodities trading in physical hemp and CBD products, providing a range of intermediate services that assure those on both ends of transactions are trustworthy. Services include proprietary payment tools operated by the traditional banking system, as well as robust logistics management. CanXchange CEO and co-founder Alex Arkentis has also joined HempToday’s board of advisors.

HempConnect, Hamburg, Germany, is a developer of Life-Cycle-Assessment technology for carbon management specifically for the hemp industry. As part of the partnership with HempConnect, the Hamburg-based company is also publisher under license of HempToday DACH, the German-language edition of HempToday.

Krings is a documentary photographer and visual storyteller exploring the social and environmental impact of the climate crisis. Her book, H is for Hemp, which documents the worldwide rediscovery of industrial hemp, will hit the market in March 2022.

HempToday consults its media partners on communications strategies and provides referrals and other networking services. The media partners help keep HempToday up to date on business news and advise on key industry developments.
