My Experience with Marijuana and Schizophrenia

In this video, I talk about the recent legalization here in Canada of marijuana, and the studied impacts of marijuana use on schizophrenia and psychosis. I also talk about my experiences experimenting with marijuana while also having schizoaffective disorder.

We would encourage anyone to discuss the potential effects of marijuana on your health with your doctor first and to just be really responsible and sensible about using substances such as marijuana. Based on scientific research and my experience with it, we would recommend against the use of marijuana for people with schizophrenia or susceptibility to psychosis.
